LED Reflection

What you are seeing in your sight is front light reflecting off the LED circuit in the inner tube projecting in onto the front lens. The red coating is what makes the reflection the color you see. This is a characteristic in all Aimpoint products. In environments with a lot of light coming in the front of the sight you see it more prevalent. To minimize this, try to keep your eye in line with the optic, Maintain target focus. Keep both eyes open. In time with little practice, it will become unnoticeable.
